Leeds Castle Photographer

Here is a single preview image that I absolutely love from a birthday party that I had the privilege to be called upon as Leeds Castle Photographer.

This wasn’t the first time I had photographed at Leeds Castle, but it was the first birthday party that I had captured there. The celebration was held in the rather splendid Fairfax Hall, an immaculately restored traditional Kentish timber framed barn that dates back to 1680. Not only is the venue beautiful, it also has has a magnificent views across the moat to of Leeds Castle from the terrace terrace. This is even more spectacular once the sun sets and the castle is illuminated.

The occasion was a surprise birthday party which required meticulous planning by the organisers to ensure that all the guests were assembled ready for the moment when the birthday boy stepped through the door. This particular image was captured before the party (I am always early!) I especially like it as the castle and surrounding Kent countryside can be viewed through the windows which gives more context to the visual story.
